Learn GarageBand in 30 Days App Reviews

Ive been through a lot of music recording programs and I gotta say GarageBand is by far one of the best but I am still learning and am currently in the middle of my own homemade album. I wanted a bit of knowledge on this program and I didnt know where to go until I bumped into this app and its just great. I recommend this app, its really worth your money.

They dont tell you but this app is only for the PC version of Garage Band. It does not help you with the IPhone app at all. False advertising I want my money back

I dont get it, I mean I bought this app thinking that I could learn how to play the guitar and record music but I guess its just for the PC. FALSE ADVERTISING!!! Give me my money back!!!

This product is advertised as being for iPad. It is not! It is for the computer. The screen shots on this tutorial look nothing like they do on the iPad. I have written to this company several times requesting a refund. They responded once over a month ago and said they would refund my money. They have not refunded it yet. Now they wont respond to my emails. BEWARE!!!!! It wont let me post this without a rating. It does not deserve a star.

There are no instrument lessons. Dont let this app fool you.

I have used Garage Band for over a year and purchased a book. Seeing it live helped put the pieces together. Would like to see it be more comprehensive but I give it 4 stars.

The background music behind Joeys lessons, while he is teaching, is tremendously annoying, distracting and takes a lot away from an otherwise helpful process. c Can this backing track be turned off? I find it almost impossible to listen to Joey while this music - with singers! - plays.

Your training is good and thorough although some of the jokes can seem a bit annoying specially when you rehash them continuously.. There is no proper order and that makes it hard to understand a few things. A video starts saying "as we saw from the last video" and if you follow along in the way the videos are laid out you didnt see that part in the last video.. So doesnt make sense..

Good info. A little unprofessional at times with talking and noise in the background but a great overview of GB, with some good tips in every video. It saves a lot of time not to have to find all this stuff by trial and error.

Excellent tutorial but not for garage band app. This would be very helpful if I had the MC version of garage band.

Its basic...But thats not my prob with it. The split-up videos feels like youre learning things in pieces rather than one subject moving smoothly to the next. Videos are unorganized. Youll here him reference something that you dont learn till 2 videos later. The narrater feels unorganized. I dont like his voice, his sad jokes and how he tends to ramble and makes it excruciating to sit through a video. Its like hes been smokin something. Very unprofessional. I cant believe I watched a whole 3-min video on how the play button, fast forward and skip button works.
